I love taking photos of people I have known for years! It's amazing to see how much can change and yet, how much stays the same! The last time I photographed this family they were only a family of 3, but the pandemic brought a new member to this active family's household and she couldn't be more adorable! After emailing back and forth about location options, we decided to use their backyard. People always think they need to find an amazing location for a photoshoot, but when this family suggested we use their backyard I thought that was the perfect idea. The kids are more relaxed because it's their yard and they are less distracted by their surroundings. With a backyard as nice as this one, it really makes the perfect backdrop. Don't you agree?
