When planning a photoshoot it's always good to have a plan B, but sometimes you need a C and D too. We had to change locations at the last minute for this engagement shoot and were running through several options. But I couldn't be happier with the results. This was my first time to the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens and it was so beautiful! There was hardly anyone there for our 8 AM session and the place is free to go to. It's really a hidden gem in the DC area so go check it out if you haven't been before! I had fun meeting and working with this couple for the first time and getting to know them. I got them to loosen up with a quick piggy-back ride on the boardwalk and felt like they really had a good time. I'm looking forward to their intimate backyard wedding in September!
